Who you gonna call?

by admin on March 4, 2011

If you have an emergency, or see a crime in progress (ie: robbery, fight in progress, accident w/ injuries), call 911.  If you witnessed a drug deal, or need police to attend another non-urgent situation (minor accident, intoxicated person, aggressive pan handler), please call the “other emergencies” number (613-236-6211). Call 613-236-1222 ext 7300 to make a report of theft, lost property, missing person or stolen vehicle.  And finally, call 3-1-1 for all by-law and City related matters (property standards, parking, parks, graffiti, etc).

If you are not sure whether or not you should call, please call.  The call will be prioritized by the call-taker and appropriate action taken when possible.  We need your assistance in your community.  Share information with your neighbours, work with partners in the community; (Police, By-law, Parks and Recreation, etc.) and together we can prevent crime. If you have any questions or concerns about safety or want to get actively involved in crime prevention, contact the Parkwood Hills Community Police Centre at 613-236-1222 X 2348.
