Milk Bags for Haiti

by admin on December 10, 2010

The Carleton Heights Community Centre is collecting milk bags to be made into sleeping mats for earthquake victims in Haiti.  The coloured plastic milk bags (that hold the smaller clear plastic bags) are turned into easy-to-clean mats that do not attract bugs and help resist dampness.  Bags can be dropped off at the Community Centre from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday, 5:30 to 9 pm Monday to Thursday or Saturday from 9 am-12
