Widening of Prince of Wales
The CHARA board is concerned about the widening of Prince of Wales Drive, without the proper environmental assessment and studies on the impact to our community. Therefore it sent the following letter to our City Councillor Marie McRae.
Dear Councillor McRae:
Re: MOTION WITH REGARD TO THE EXPANSION OF PRINCE OF WALES DRIVE
At its meeting of October 19, 2010, the Board of Directors of the Carleton Heights and Area Residents’ Association (CHARA) passed the following motion:
That CHARA send a letter to the Councillor of River Ward requesting that the expansion of Prince of Wales, north of Hunt Club be delayed until an environmental study on the effects of such widening on the residents of Carleton Heights and area can be completed.
The Board and residents of the community look forward to working with you and to being involved in this important study.
